Commitment to Excellence in Dementia Care

At Wentworth Court, we take immense pride in our dedication to dementia care, reflected through prestigious awards, expert accreditations, and meaningful partnerships that enhance the lives of our residents and their families.

Dementia Awareness Through Film

We are incredibly proud to have collaborated with the Gloucestershire Integrated Commissioning Board and the University of Gloucestershire on a series of dementia education films, created by BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Kimberley Littlemore and featuring our residents, families and team members. This remarkable project received the What Matters Award at the South West Personalised Care Awards, recognition that means a great deal to everyone involved.

These acknowledgements are not simply accolades. They reflect what happens when a team cares deeply, works collaboratively and never stops striving to be better.

Expert Care, Thoughtfully Given

At Wentworth Court, specialist dementia care is shaped around each individual, delivered by a team that truly understands. We’re here when you’re ready.

Trusted Partnerships

The relationships we have built over the years mean a great deal to us. Each one has grown from a shared belief that people living with dementia deserve more, more connection, more joy, more of the things that make life feel rich and full of meaning.

Together with our partners, we continue to learn, to grow and to bring more of what matters most to the people in our care and the families who love them.

Accreditations That Define Our Care

When you choose Wentworth Court, you are choosing a home where commitment to specialist dementia care runs through everything, from the design of our building to the expertise of our team.

Our nurses are NMC registered, and our care colleagues hold recognised dementia and care qualifications, including advanced specialist awards and QCF Diplomas. Our approach has been shaped in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Society, Bradford University and Stirling University, whose Dementia Design Tool informed the very fabric of our home.

As proud members of NAPA and a placement home for student nurses from the University of the West of England, we remain closely connected to the research and best practice that continue to shape the future of dementia care.

Every qualification, every partnership, strengthens the care that defines us.
